Reporter

Telling meaningful, important stories is what I want to do for as long as I can and I am grateful journalism feeds that passion. My path to becoming a reporter began when I was a child growing up in Queens, NY. I loved writing short stories and poems in my spare time to express my thoughts and feelings. In high school, I joined the school newspaper and slowly fell in love with conducting interviews and writing stories on my peers. In college, I broadened my experiences through internships at CBS News in New York and Nine Network Australia in Sydney. My first job out of school took me to Parkersburg, West Virginia where I reported, produced, and anchored weekend evening newscasts. During my time there, my reporting on the drug epidemic was recognized by the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors and Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters. After nearly 3 years in Parkersburg, I moved on to Buffalo, NY. While in western New York, I covered everything from the Catholic Church sex abuse scandal to a Democratic socialist upsetting Buffalo’s 4-term incumbent mayor in a Democratic primary. I am excited to embark on the next leg of my career in Dayton and look forward to telling stories that can inform and bring people together. Feel free to send story ideas my way or follow me on social media!
